I grew up in small town rural Southern Ontario and spent my much of my youth working in the fields. I have picked everything from strawberries, to rocks to tobacco, yes, I know the meaning of hard work! I studied psychology at the University of Guelph before beginning a career working at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Company in Cambridge and Woodstock. I enjoyed working as a Team Member Relations Specialist during my time there. After welcoming my daughter into the world, I knew it was time to make a change and fulfill my passion for helping people. I returned to school and became a Registered Massage Therapist. I love my chosen career where I can offer my services to everyone. I especially enjoy working with ladies pre- and post-natal, and children. When I’m not working, I love to travel, read and soak up some vitamin D outside with my doggo and my daughter.
I received my education from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) but due to their closure in the last 12 weeks of my program, I completed my studies at Bryan College and graduated in December 2020. I am trained in General Swedish Massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, manual lymph drainage, hydrotherapy, and remedial exercise. My clinical interests lie in rehabilitation, general well being, as well as treating anxiety & depression.
I have been involved in natural and holistic methods of healing for 8 years now, as a certified Reiki & Crystal Healing practitioner. With my passion for body and energy work it was a natural decision to expand my education and focus to the field of massage therapy. I provide a natural touch and empathy for my clients as I hold space to assist them in their healing journey. I look forward to continuing my education as well as learning other modalities to enhance my clients experience on the table.
Outside of the clinic you will find me busy with my partner Tim and our 3 kids, and we are all eagerly waiting for the final addition to our family to arrive in January 2022.
